A Very Special Kn7000 - 11/17/12 03:41 PM
If it’s meant to be it will be. I never thought that these words would apply to a Kn7000 and me.
I have sold a Kn6000 – 2 Kn6500 – and three Kn7000 --- After many years I decided to leave Technics.
Two of my close friends left me their keyboards when the passed away; a Kn6000 and a Kn6500.
Four weeks ago my lifelong friend who played drums and bass in my band for many years passed away; his wife just
shipped me his Kn7000 which I helped him buy. She asked for shipping and no more; she wanted me to have his keyboard because of our frienfship.
I am about to own another Kn7000 which will have a special meaning, the man was like a bother to me.
Sooooooo --- If it’s meant to be it will be --- And I am looking forward to working with the Kn7000.
Bernie words were, “I came home to play my Kn7000, it’s like an old friend; and that is exactly what is going to happen.
I am in awe of what life brings, John C.

Hello John,
Not what you had planned BUT you will soon re- get readjusted
Too many Technics owners thought that once the Technics instruments were discontinued it was time to move on and after they had sold, they wished they hadn't sold .
My wife and I own 7 Technics instruments so it wouldn't be ecomical to buy another brand just for no other reason BUT following the trend.
We do have one sick KN7000 but recently got another KN7000.to fill the gap

Willum,
I have the feeling that this trip into the fold will be the best yet. Something like, ‘Absence makes the heart fonder”.
I may have to lean on you for some help – I gave all my Kn7000 data to Gary when he bought my Kn7000.

Hello John,
I know you are in for a treat. I've just finished putting together a CD to celebrate my niece's 25 years Wedding Party. I used the KN7000, the Tyros 3 and the Tyros 4 styles for this project. Alongside the track numbers I also named the instrument used. I took my initial 'master' copy to our Club for their thoughts on whether it was o.k. or whether it could be improved in any way. All, I repeat all, said the KN7000 was the better, more realistic sound than the other two keyboards. That is not to say, the other two aren't any good, just that the KN7000 is unique in its build, quality of sound, and 'user friendly' operating system and for me it was a real pleasure playing it.
I am sure you will soon get into the 'swing of it' (if you'll pardon the pun) but if you need any help at all, please feel free to ask, I just may have the answer - who knows?
Have fun! - Audrey

Sorry Nigel, I hadn't seen your question
Our sick KN 7000 is well documented under Naughty KN7000
----- Page 3 ---- of Technics forum
Interesting as it seems like a record as to how many viewers that topic has had. [over 7000 viewers ]
The problem is still the same so the k7 is being used as a straight piano in the meantime .
Only suggested clue is a possible faulty " Flash memory "
I have not been able to have anyone that has experienced that problem -- so still waiting.
