Panel Memory Question for Technics PR604 - 03/12/12 08:23 PM

After loading presets into panel memory and saving, when the key board is powered down and then restarted all presets revert to factory configuration. Is it possible to save my custom presets so they remain available after powerdown and restart? americancoastal@hotmail.com

Hi, I have a PR903 which preceded the 04 Series. I have never had a problem with the panel memory holding registrations/presets after turning off. I thought Custom Presets were constant as well. I know some Technics models only hold memory for 80 minutes. The 604 may be one of them. Check the manual for confirmation. If not, you may have to save to a disc for future recall. I am sure there are SZ members who have the same or similar models who may be able to help.

See the comment at the foot of Page 10 of your User manual.

As far as I can see, I don't think the PR604 has the facility to store set-up data in Non-Volatile memory - the data has to be stored to disk and then re-called after next switching on......

Thanks Bill. Suspected that was the case. Just looking for an easier work around. Side note. We met at the Florida jam several years ago. Great memories.
