Corrupted Song File - 04/12/11 05:27 PM

I tried to attach the WMA format but the site message said WMA files are non acceptable.

I re-zipped the File and have attached it. It played fine on my computer.

Please let me know if it goes OK with you.

Thanks

Larry

Hi Larry,
The file will not decompress.

I guess that I cannot attach a workable WMA file or a zipped version to this site.

I will do so more thinking on the subject.

If you want a WMA version, let me know on this site and I will email you a WMA version.

Thanks,

Larry

Thanks Nigel for trying to fix the problem. I tried to attach a WMA file but the file was not accepted, and the message said it had to be one of the allowable files and WMA was listed as an allowable file.

Thanks again,

Larry

Nigel,

Either Larry G. is doing something wrong, or the SZ won't accept .wma files.

I suspect Larry G is not waiting long enough after clicking "upload" in file manager. This could also be the reason for the corrupted zip file, as he may have clicked "Done Adding Files" before the upload was completly finished.

Reminder to my friend Larry G and others: Do NOT click Done Adding Files, until you can actually view your file upload in File Manager. It could take a bit of time to upload.

Review:

1. File Manager

2. Browse

3. Add File

4. THEN WAIT UNTIL YOU CAN ACTUALLY VIEW THE UPLOADED FILE IN FILE MANAGER
...before...

5. Clicking Done ADDING FILES

I hope he tries again, or someone that can, will upload it for him...We really would like to have a listen.

A test for wma files. There was a problem with wma files but that is now fixed.

Now something bad IS happening to the zip files that are attached but that requires more investigation.

LOL Bill, I thought you might. I needed a WMA file for my test so I figured I could just use one of yours.
