Looks like 'She who must be obeyed' is just a little upset

I think some serious TLC is required Ray - some flowers and a quiet, intimate dinner.... Maybe followed by you serenading her, accompanied by a KN7000 ??

It isn't good enough. You men have no idea how these thoughtless actions hurt.

I know because I've been there and done that. How do you think I acquired my Tyros 3 eh?

How about a nice piece of jewellery Ray? That might "calm the waters"

Re: The Gardener - 07/27/10 12:39 AM

I am glad you are all concerned, and I have listened and learned....ssssooooo.....
As my Club won the Semi-Final on that fateful day, I have decided that it would be a good idea to take "The G" to dinner next Sunday. (That's The Final Dinner).
The fact that I am President of the Competition and have to Preside at The Dinner is incidental, isn't it ????.
Steady Audrey, hold back !! Yes I jest. She was going to The Dinner in any case.
There is a further problem as well. Our second daughter is due on the 3rd )two days later) with her first child, and we are of the opinion she might be a bit early.
Question....would it be ok to take the whole Club team to the hospital, or just the Captain??
Question 2 on a music subject.I have lost the dots for Mustang Sally. Can anyone help or have I offended you all??
See ya

Audrey, It's not just we men who forget birthdays. in the past, my late wife, my sister and my daughter have all forgotten mine! But do I care? Not at all - the older I get, the less I care about birthdays. What is so special about one particular day in a year, when you have the love of your family and friends all year round??

You are quite right of course Bill. The older we get the more we appreciate our families.

Hi,I apologise for offending.(see previous post). Now can anyone help with the dots and chords for Mustang sally?
Just in case any of you may be interested, dinner last night was wonderful and I have been given a reprieve, also the Pennant Final was won by my club. Still rejoicing !!!

WELL!! for all those anxious to hear.....It's a boy (Daniel Sydney Johnston).
arrived Monday 8.30pm by inducement. DOB 8-9-10 (US date).
Not to be outdone, I was going to visit to have a cuddle after golf on Wed., but due to having a heart attack at 1.15 pm on the 12th hole, I finished up in another hospital to have a stent inserted in a badly diseased artery.
Three of us discharged last Friday and all's well.
NOW...... has anyone got the dots for MUSTANG SALLY that they can pass on to a poor injured golfer with time on his hands?

Ray, my index shows Mustang Sally in Hal Leonard's R & Blues Fake Book 2nd Edition. I don't have that book, though.

Glad you're OK now.

Hi Ray,

Hope you are still recovering from your heart attack.

I've looked through my records and I don't have it.

However, here is a website who specialise in unusual songs:-
http://www.folkinfo.org/songs

Hope this helps.

Audrey

Ray, What an interesting live you are leading – you’re getting it all in. You have been blessed in two fantastic areas. A brand new Daniel just came to add to your life, you’re a grandfather, nice. And you are on the other side of a heart attack. Ray, both my heart attack and now diabetes have added to my life, they were warnings and I have paid close attention to both. Today at 78 I am feeling great, better than I was in my late 60’s, and much happier. It is what you do to what has been given to you, use your grandson and your heart attack to better your life.

Take good care my friend, John C.

Unusual songs Audrey - Mustang Sally - I don't believe it as John Mac would say on the tennis court....

Re: The Gardener - 08/18/10 11:39 PM

Thanks to you all for the good wishes. I played golf yesterday and I am sure I feel much better than I was. What I put down to ageing and lack of condition was apparently this little hiccup.
I think "The Gardener" has forgotten about my misdemeanor, and I am in the clear again.
Incidentally, when I arrived at "The Gates" last week, which were closed, I looked in and could not see a musician in sight, is there a message there for The Zoners?
The other place had a "House Full" sign up, so I guess that answers the question.
See Ya !!
