You need one of two programs to open and decompress a '.SDB' file - Either Panasonic Song Manager or Fred Mellink's KN7000 SD Explorer. Both programs will run on Windows 7.
If you don't have the Panasonic Song Manager (it was included on the 'Applications and Drivers' CD which was included with the KN7000 package) you can download the CD content from my website and burn a CD : http://www.willumspages.co.uk/page10.html Tip #15. The installation procedure is also available in Tip #1.

Fred's program is available here : http://vision-4-life.nl/SDExplorer.htm

I have just downloaded my SD Cards to my new Windows 7 and yes! they're all in the .sdb format.

It isn't just a matter of downloading the backup. You need to have the KN SD Explorer Tool and the Licence key to use it, downloaded to your Programmes first to enable the SD Card files to work properly.

Hope this helps.

Thanks The cd for my kn7000 was download ok as song manager and audio recorder with the procedure of Bill
But the Panasonic SD-Jukebox that I download dont work because of the window7 i7 multi cpu.
Because I try to transfer my mp3 to an sd card and the sd card reader from panasonic always flashing thats the reason of the multi cpu.
