Many thanks Bill, I kept thinking it was my lack of skills, but turns out to be someone very skilful, and using their talent to spoil it for others. What nerds there are in this world.

I hate to think what would happen if this site was taken down by a hacker. I visit this site every day and very often use the search facility to tap into the mass of very good information that has been covered in the past.

One of the main websites of my other hobby, flight simming, was hacked into about a year ago by someone who initially offered to help run the site then set about destroying it. After many months and lots of money the site managed to rebuild and is now better than ever.

Losing this forum would be a tragedy.

It actually wouldn't be the first time it has happened. Twice over the past 16 years this site has been hacked and taken offline. Fortunately a backup is kept so although some postings at the time were lost most were restored again from the backup.
