Spam free goods email sent to you supposedly from me

Hi there - I have have emails from people in my email listing address on my computer.

These are offering free goods etc - please note these are SPAM - do not open them.

I am very sorry about this, it is not of my doing. Joan

We know it's not you, I have even had spam emails like that supposedly from myself. Also someone that has you on their list may have got a virus that then grabs their list and starts sending out spam using addresses it has found and faking the sender address to make people think it is from someone they know.

If your virus software hasn't reported anything then it's probably not your PC.
