Strumming Chords in Composer

Strumming Chords in Composer - 12/11/09 11:58 AM

I have listened to many rhythm styles where the guitar part sounds like its strumming. Can anyone offer me any tips to achieve this with a guitar sound in the composer. I have looked at a few in the composer editor expecting to see the notes slightly delayed one after the other, but the chords I checked were quantised ??

Many thanks

Hi Glen,
Simply copy these styles of guitars to the composer. You can not quantize these chords other than a sixteenth note or less as they will form a natural consequence as the time intervals in a guitar chord.

There is a fairly good strumming pattern on the extra KN7000 styles that came on a CD 'World 001 -020 song 01' Is there any way I can load this into the sequencer so I can see how the strums were constructed with 'Note Edit'

Sure is Glen I'll email you rather than clutter up the forum with a reply to your very specific question........

I've been doing some work on your other query regarding the style for 'Danny Boy' - I'll get back to you later.........
