The best instrument - 01/13/08 08:27 PM

Hello Professors,
My sincere thanks to bazz3 for his assistance getting me through the midi jungle.
Still a few wrinkles that the user will have to negotiate, but a great result for a novice.
Now, the question that I promised to set your hearts aglow....
What is considered to be the BEST keyboard around (old or new)in use by the Academics of Synthezone University, (any brand, and the reasons why, apart from "because thats what I have".

No such thing as best, only what suits the user, however on the practical side.

Most Technologically Advanced:

Wersi (Complete with ease of use)

Lionstracs (If you have great knowledge of computers and music software)

Easiest to use from scratch:
Yamaha

Best keybed:
Roland

Excellent All Rounder:
Korg

Innovations:
Ketron

I am sure there will be others added.

A good start, should be more to come.

Hi RMepstead,
Very true, but many of the Posters often refer to other brands which they have, or are buying, and this is by far, the most active site on which to find assistance and information,as witnessed by the first reply, and that of many others,so I decided to go to the TOP for the best chance of a broader result.
See Ya !!
