Whilst playing my kn7000 with a piano sound it will without warning change its sound to an indescribable noise.
Has anyone had this problem and is there a fix
Thanks Richard

Hello Richard,

Try initializing the keyboard to Factory Settings as follows:-

Press PROGRAMME MENUS (under red record
button on the right)
Screen will change.

Press INITIAL button (to the left of screen)
Screen changes again.

Make sure PERFORMANCE in the box is high-lighted.

Press O.K.

You will get a RED message asking if you really want to do this. Press YES.

Keyboard will scroll "Please Wait".

When this has finished, the keyboard should now be in Factory Mode.

Hope this works, but if not, post again as it could be any number of things but if there is a problem initializing the keyboard will cure it 9/10 times.

Good luck!

Audrey

Hi Richard. Just a reminder before you take Audrey's advice (which I believe to be correct)Audrey knows it all, believe me,before you initialise don't forget to save any existing data. I have been caught big tme and took me 2 weeks to redo all my hard work. ta ta!!

Ray is quite right to point this out to you Richard. The golden rule is to SAVE ALL YOUR WORK EACH AND EVERY TIME before making alterations to it. It might seem like a 'hassle' at the time but believe me, it is well worthwhile. I have "been there and done that" as the saying goes....

Well done Ray - for your excellent post.
