I downloaded the KN5 styles from
www.technicskn7000.com website and found out that these cannot be loaded into KN6000. Is this correct? It looks like I am forced to buy a KN7000.

Bert, I think you will find that what you downloaded was just the catalogue details and not the styles. I visited the site recently and no software was yet available.
I'll mail you the styles tonight

Those styles are "converted", rebuilded and
edited to load into KN7000, and in KN7000
the new format, and will not load into any
model below.
