Life begins at 40
Or so the saying goes,
But life is what you make it
As everybody knows.
When you’re in your early teens
Hormones rule your life,
But when you reach your 20s,
It’s probably the wife.
By the time you get to 30,
Life just begins to pall,
And well into the 40s
You want to change it all.
By the time you’re 50
You’re getting in control,
So when the big 60 hits you-like it does today
You know you’re really on the roll.
So now is the time to come to grips
As your new life unfolds,
Bungee jumping, rallying,
Do as you like - JUST BE BOLD.
