Flash updates!

Hello all,
Another question I am afraid! Have been reading about the diy updates for the 5000. After testing my 5000 as explained on 'Bobs How to site' (...thanks Bob, love the site), I discovered that my keyboard is running version 6. I have downloaded version 10 but need to know whether the updates must be sequential or if it is ok to jump straight from ver 6 to 10?
Also I am not quite sure what the update actually fixes, is it worth doing or should I leave well alone?
If anyone could enlighten me on either point I would be grateful.

Hi Tony,

You can go ahead and just install ROM version #10 as version #10 incorporates all the changes in #7, 8, & 9.

The fixes in ROM version #10 address software issues related to lyrics display and associated keysoftservice software "HD-Techmanger". Other fixes include "improved" OS software efficiency but you probably won't notice the difference.

If you do not have the HD-AE5000 hard drive installed in your KN5000 it is not essential to update to ROM #10 from ROM version #6, nonetheless updating your ROM to Version #10 is very safe and easy.
