HD/Rhythm Styles

I need advise to solve the following problem:
PROBLEM: Sometimes, after I play a midi file from my HD, and then select my next style from the Rhythm Group, all I get is a beat sound and no style. To correct this situation I find that I have to turn the keyboard off and start over again in order to be able to load and play the selection from the Rhythm Group.
What am I doing wrong?
What is the solution?

playing a midi file puts the keyboard into gm mode which disables many technics functions. Initialise or switch back to nx mode in the midi menu mode setting.

Hi,

You should have your midi files separate
from you styles. Try and set up your
partitions perhaps sytle part. 1 and midi
file part 2. I am sure that is the problem.

I orginally mix styles and midi files and
found the same problem.

Try a one or two files on each and see how
it works.
