KN7000 Repair Question

My KN7000 has 1 black key that catches slightly when pressed. Is there someone who knows how to repair the keyboard? I'm thinking of using a black key way down in the left hand that never is used and move it to the repair position. I'd need to know how to get the keyboard exposed and then exchange the key. Any suggestions????

Try pressing firmly on the very back of the key and see if this helps.

I had three notes on my KN7000 that had a slight static tick when the notes were played. I pushed down firmly at the back (not the front of the keys) and got rid of it. It might work for your problem. It is possible that all the keys aren't seated well. Anyway, it worked for me.

Hi Marty,
Last year I had also a key problem.
One of the keys sounds louder then the rest of the keys.
Most of key problems are dust on the contacts under that key.
To clean this contact you must open your keyboard ( backside ) and clean the contact with a vacuumcleaner after removing the strip with keys. If you not are skilled
let it do by a technics expert.
