Converting styles from one finger to fingered mode - 04/03/02 09:20 PM
Could someone please describe the procedure to follow for changing styles (KN6500) that are in the one finger mode to the fingered chord mode permanently. Merci

Hi Paulyn,
This answer is quoted from Bud Whipple, a long time back.
Set up your keyboard for fingered mode.
Press program menus button-controlbutton-panel memory mode button-normal button. Now press set and panel memory # 1 at the same time and the change will be made in all PM locations. This works fine for me.
I would now hazard a guess that if you save this to a new floppy or overwrite it on the current floppy or hard disk that it will be that way next time you load it.

you lose all the functionality of the panel memories in normal mode.
Much better to press and hold the panel memory SET button, select expand, go to page 2, and set APC & MEMORY to off.
Your one finger mode is now permanent as long as you do performance saves which include the current panel.
