My Birthday - 04/18/05 02:38 PM

Hi, Forum Friends,

To morrow is my Birthday, 19th April,

I’m 72yrs young, I live in sheltered housing,

with 25 other elderly friendly folk, I belong to

an active retirement club, of a hundred great members,

I have found a great Technics Forum, with generous

an giving members, that I’m privileged to have

associated with. I have the best keyboard, KN7000,

that has ever been made, [Imop, of course]

I have received more birthday cards
than I can remember,

and I have a wonderful loving wife.

I can only say, “it’s good to be alive- in 2005”.

Thank you for letting me share this with you.

Fred Wren U.K.

And as the Cock crew, those who stood before
the Tavern shouted---“Open then the door!
“you know how little time we have to stay,
“And, once departed, may return no more.”

Many happy returns for your 72nd B'day Fred! Enjoy your celebration!

I am wondering if the AWESOME 7K is a KB that particularly appeals to those of us who are amongst the more senior groups? Like how many who enjoy this KB & Technics generally are under.....say 50? 60?

etowo 4788,
It may be that when we are young,
we think that our elders are not
all that clever, and it’s not until we get
older and look back, that we realise
how smart they really were.

FRED.....Since the 20th (give or take a day or two either side) is the date when the sun moves into the next sign every month....It is possible that you may have been born when the sun was in Taurus rather than Aries.

According to my midnight ephemeris, on 4/20/33 at midnight GMT. the sun was at 29 degrees Aries, 27' 32"....

If you were born within the next few minutes after midnight GMT.....The sun would have been just into the 1st degree of
Taurus.....A good old earth sign with many attributes.

The important parts are not just where the sun was but also what is the rising or ascending sign (determined by the time & place of birth)....where in the Astrological picture are the other planets, & how do they all "aspect" each other....(connect) with each other?

This is probably more than any of you wanted to know....It is a language much like than music that captivated my interest enough to study, become fluent, & earn a good part of my living using it to assist others....

I wish I had as many years left to study music & become as proficient! I'll keep learning & enjoying for as long as I have!

I am basically a simple man with the ability to play popular
tunes from an early age, which over the years people have
been generous enough to pay me for my efforts.

I have been lucky to have lived long enough,
to have purchased the KN7000 keyboard, “which I have said with
tongue in cheek” is the beast keyboard ever made; which in turn
brought me into contact with the members, and their music, of this
great forum.

If being born on the 19th of April 1933 was influential in that,
I can only thank God for being so generous to me.

Thank you for your interesting observations, and may you get
many more years of enjoyment from your studies, as I do
from playing my KN7000.

Best wishes,
Fred Wren U.K.

Doron,
Thank you for your nice comments.
What a lucky person you are, to have a 5 year old
daughter, who no doubt, under your guidance, will
one day turn out to be a fine musician.

I wish you, your daughter, and family, every happiness.

Fred Wren. U.K.
