SD Audio Copy

SD Audio Copy - 08/01/07 02:16 PM

Am I correct that you can't copy SD Audio files from one SD Card to another SD Card?
I can copy Technic and Sound files, but have no luck with copying Audio

I tried via PC Copy, and the files are visible on the computer, but do not load on the KN7000.

I believe Panasonic has encoded Jukebox SD Audio Files, that makes it impossible to copy correctly.

Anyway, if anyone knows of a way of copying SD Audio, from one card to another, let me know. I no longer have the original MP3's to convert to audio. I could possibly check in the Audio files, and then check back out, but to do this to 2 cards would take forever, as I have about 175 audio file songs.

I know...I should have made a backup...

Thanks

Having checked back I believe that the encryption used only works on the card you load first time only. Regards John.

Hi Larry
The only way to get an additional SD Card with audio files on it that are already on another SD Card is to use the SD Jukebox program in the same computer that you used to put them on the first SD Card.
Rog
p.s. It'll only allow you to do that 3 times and then goes very shy!!!

Hi Rog,
Thanks.
You're correct. You can "check in" songs 3 times. Panasonic sure went to extreme measures to protect users from copying songs. I don't understand why.
I do know it's a pain ):
