... I will sometimes download a file from a midi site, which is said to be a midi file but the file extension is html ... can this be converted to .mid ? .. just changing the extension does not allow my kn6 to read it...

Hi Tony,
The .html extension is just a link to a web page not to an actual midi file. Maybe you are not saving the midi file correctly. It sounds as though you are saving the web page rather than the midi file.

Tony ... thanks, but I don't think that's the problem ... when I'm in the site I pick a tune I want to download, right click and "Save As" and the file will show the name of the song and the 'html' extension....

PS: the next time it happens I'll save the link for you to try it ..... perhaps I am doing something wrong. that's CERTAINLY NOT out of the realm of possibility.....

PPS After writing this I checked the forum thread below on the Gen Arr Kbd page, and I think I understand it a little better now ?!?!?
