testing the midi connections within my KN6

Is there a way I can test my midi connections on my KN6? I am midi'ing 2 boards...roland with my KN6. Roland is the master and KN6 is slave. Roland midi connectinos are good and have conducted a test to make sure. IF anyone knows how I can test out my midi conncections on my KN6, please let me know.

If you turn Local off on the Roland, with the out on the Roland connected to the in on the KN you should be playing the KN sounds (if you have a working MIDI channel set up.

If you then connect the out of the KN to the in on the Roland you should be able to play the Roland remotely via the KN.
