Creating a Style - 10/14/04 08:36 PM

I would like to make a style from the background of a mid file. What I did, I copied two tracks, measure 2-17 into variation one and saved it. When I went to play the style, it played the exact same think and stopped. My question is, how do I get this variation to loop so that it plays over and over until I go to the next variation? I read about looping for the performance pads, but found nothing about looping for a style variation.

Maybe you copied into the sequencer instead of
use the composer?

Maybe in the APC menu you have to select: Fingered Mode & Memory ON ?

Are you sure that the setting in the pattern is just 2 bars/measures or not more?

Usually the standard setting is 4 bars/measures or maybe more. If you copy just 2 bars/measures into a pattern which contains of 4 bars/measures, you have the others silent.

You can edit your style in the way that you copy your 2 already copied bars/measures, to 3 and 4 in the style.

Good luck
