Sad, but her voice lives on. When I heard it on the radio this morning I played a few of her LPs. Great. Walter.

One of the greats. I'll be playing a couple of her numbers at tomorrows gig as my small tribute to her.

She certainly was a 'Giant' among the many female singers - up there with Ella, Sarah and Dinah. I just bought two of her CDs last week, to add to my collection, which I have been playing in my car on my trips to and from work. It's very sad to learn of her passing but she has left a wonderful legacy for all to enjoy.
