I get a transmission error on the song manager, On the audio recorder when I press the red button I get error message can not connect to keyboard. Check connection.

Hi Ray, Welcome to the Forum 
Your problem sounds like a defective driver installation and you are not the first to experience such problems.
I suggest you uninstall all the KN software and then re-install.
