Check out my new web site. Using KN1000 - 02/24/05 09:36 PM

Hello

Thought you Technics people might enjoy hearing a KN1000 on my new web site.

While I use a Tyros on everthing else, I used the KN1000 on my "About" page.

I loved that thing.

Hope you enjoy it.

I don't know what went wrong, but all I got was broken snatches of the music, when I tried to listen to your songs.

My KN-1000 NEVER sounded like that !!! ... In fact, neither does my KN-6000 ... Obviously, technology has little to do with it ...
Great playing Scott ... or I guess that could be .. Great Scott, playing ...

WOW!....Maybe in my next life I will be able to play just half that well!

GREAT SCOTT ! Right on!

BEBOP....SOLAR PANELS! A great investment for the boondocking experience.....Of course the sun needs to be out bright and beautiful! Lots of that nasty stormy weather is getting out here to Yuma too....but not as much as in CA!

Sounds great, but there are only 10-20 sec. demosongs on Scott's page, right? I was hoping to listen to the whole songs.

Thanks for the kind responses.

I am trying different things to make it easier for everyone to be able to access what's there.

I am going to be using this for prospective clients and I'm sure that some will have computer set ups that run at slower speeds.

So all responses appreciated.

Kenneth, yes all except for one are short demos so I can let clients hear a variety of styles that I do. Maybe as I get going and have more time etc I may have more with songs that are complete.

Scott,
What player are you using for your sound clips? If it's anything other than Windows Media Player, then you're cutting out a large percentage of people who would like to listen to your music.
I personally will not use Apple Quick Time, Macromedia flash, or any of the other players because of the intrusive nature of such programs that want to take over the control of your computer. At least I can tell Media Player not to access the Internet unless I want it to.

Walt, this is mp3 files, and it's not what Scott use as
player but the visitors settings for playoff the clips.
Mp3 is no problem for any of the players you mention here,
and who to do what, you simply set in the preferences for
each program.

Happy listening & playing.

Gunnar, I have no problem with any other MP3 files from other sites. Scott's site is dead.

Just connected with my laptop, no probem, also my sons laptop,
no problem.
Both Firefox and IExplorer read the pages well.
Also swapped between MS Mediaplayer and WinAmp, both without
problems.
But the link to testsong are dead due to faulty code.

Re: Check out my new web site. Using KN1000 - 02/28/05 10:06 AM

I am going to be investigating why some people aren't getting a good hook up with my site and why some are.

It may be because I am running a test and listed this on a couple forums that I frequent. Do you think this could have something to do with it?

I announced the site openning on the evening of Thursday Feb 24 and in just those few days my number of total page visits is right now over 4000! One day I had 1145 visits to my home page alone.

Hope to have this working properly real soon.

Thanx

It's possible, your bandwith too may have shot up too with more visitors listening in to the tunes.
