new free styles for KN6500 and current PR

Hi everybody,

20 famous styles from the KN3000 are available for downloading now at Taiyo's Homepage. They are optimized for the KN6500. You can load them into KN6500, KN6000, PR903 (also PR1000), PR703 and PR603. After extracting the EXE-File read the "readme.pdf" for more details.

I downloaded the 5 and the 3 also as well as the organ jazz sequence. They are super and I thank you very much. Lots of good styles to use now that we used to have and now have again for the KN6000 thanks to you.
I commend you for your public service, being a giver and not just a taker. I also appreciate having your expertise here on this forum

Thank you very much for the KN3000 reprise styles - I certainly missed them after parting with mine. They should compliment those on the KN6000 very well. All your work is very much appreciated.

I downloaded and unzipped the exe file for the new styles onto disk and put it in my kn6500. When trying to load them into my 6500 it says empty disk. it is not empty, but wrong format? Do i need to convert or something?

Tony, take a look at the diskette to see if the files may be in a folder on the disk?
If so, move the files to the root of the diskette (A:\), or else the KN will not read the files.

I downloaded 3 of those files and unzipped directly onto the floppy and no problem.
I will take two guesses here.
Bad download and/or bad format.
First reformat the disk in your keyboard. then unzip the files to the floppy in your computer. Still a problem. Get another copy of the download.
I just had a problem with three files corrupted out of 5 I downloaded and this was a new operating upgrade for my new yamaha9000. One was a bad NEW floppy and the other two were corrupt downloads. It only took all night to get it right

I will try that Bebop. Thanks. There are four files on each disk. Both new disks, and so probably not bad disks. Are these workable with kn6500? Not being an english site was weird, but I got through that ok. haha

They work ok on my 6000 so should be ok on 6500.
there are 7 files that are styles and then there are 19 and 20 that are custom styles and will load into your custom style slots so be sure you have your current custom styles backed up to your hard disc or floppy as they will be overwritten. That pertains to the # 3 and the #5, but not the organ download. That is a sequencer song.
