KN6000 Style Convert Disk

Hi
Can anyone tell me if the new KN6000 uses the exact same Style Convert Disk as the older KN5000? Does the new KN6000 convert Yamaha styles? Has there ever been any update to this beyond version 1.1? Thanks in advance...

Hi Tom,
The Style Convert Disk from the KN6000 is different from the KN5000 because of the 8 (instead of 5) parts the composer now has.
It can't convert Yamaha styles on version 1.1 which I have also. I haven't heard about upgrades.

I asked Technote about style conversion and they said they would let all www.KN6000.com members know when the software is available to buy.

Not a lot of help. I have had some success converting X1 styles to the KN6000 though so all you would need to do would be to convert the Yamaha styles to X1 ...
