You may need to start watching ebay for a backup keyboard.

Zali, How about getting a replacement KN 200, instead of trying to find spare parts, it would probable be cheaper in the long run.

Hey,
you'll be glad/disapointed to know that I have the same issue as you!
I have a KN2000 and the motherboard of the pitch bend and mod wheel had snapped. This causes my keyboard to be out of tune and the modulation wheel is constantly on about 75%... very annoying! I opened it up and glued the motherboard but still no good. It's pretty clear that I need a new motherboard or PCB or whatever they're called.
It's been giving me a really unique tone that cuts through really well so i'm really keen to get it fixed.
As you know, they don't make the parts anymore, however, I did see a KN2000 on ebay recently. I think it's been sold though! Mind you, it cost about US$400 which is too much to pay just for one little part.
WHAT TO DO>?!?!

Unfortunately, there may be times when we have to realize that parts for older kbs are nowhere to be found ...
As I have no plans to part with my kn6000, I fear for the day I can't get a replacement part ...

Hi Zali,
From one who went thru depression waiting for repairs, I would think a full set of spares for now and the future at $400 approx.in another KB, is a cheap way to go in the long run.
What are you going to do while searching the world for a part and not being able to play?
As the lovely Audrey says, sit in the corner and cry.......Think about it.
