KN7000 Distorsion

I've been trying out the guitar sounds on the KN7000 I have the volume half way up and the sounds crackle - this happens a lot on the Live Nylon Guitar when I play 3 notes

Could i have it too loud or does it sound like there's a fault

Even at full volume the Live Nylon Guitar comes through crisp and clear on my KN7. Could it be perhaps caused by vibration?
Does it happen with any of the other percussive sounds?

Be sure your mudulation wheel is always set to the min position when not using it. This little bugger has caused many a headache in many areas and is a good place to start. I have no problems at any volume.
