Is is easy to convert a KN6000 sequenced song to an MP3 format. What's the best way to go about it?

Thanks for the info.

Larry, I don't know about the KN6000, but it's very easy on the KN7000. Your post prompted me to try the procedure on my new KN7000 and it worked quite easily. You can give it a listen at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/kn7000/files/Begin%20the%20Beguine.mp3
Larry, keep your files coming -- they are great! I don't do any sequencing or multi-track,-- just play live.

record the 6k line out into your pc soundcard line in with a wave recording program. Then convert to mp3, many programs now have the codec built in.

Hi Larry,
Most computer soundcards come with wave recording software so chances are you already have the software to record your performance as a wavefile. As far as conversion to MP3 goes try http://www.cdex.n3.net
Many thanks for your wonderful performances. Have just downloaded Vol. 3 but haven't played them yet. Very impressed with Vols. 1 & 2

Hi Larry
I use Acoustica . Its Simple, Easy, Fast and Cheap . Free to try, $20 to keep forever
All you need to do is to reecord to your computer (line out/in) and save as a WAV, MP3, WMA, or Real Audio http://www.acoustica.com/

Another one worth looking at is Goldwave - ( http://www.goldwave.com/ )again free to download and try, with very minor restrictions and when I bought it, it was $25 - I use it for transcribing my LP collection to CD, and in the past, recording to .WAV and MP3 from my KN6000 - It's the best 25 bucks I ever spent on software

Just had a look at their website - it's now $40 but I would still pay that for it!
