Setting up recording studio - 10/21/14 01:15 PM

Hello all. Many years ago I used to do some recording in a home studio. Since then I had some sickness and didn't do any recording. I have since moved and am ready to get back to business. I have a Tascam DP-32 digital portastudio recorder, Yamaha MX12/4 and Behringer MX1604a mixing consoles, Digetech Vocalist live pro, BBE MaxCom dual compressor-sonic maximizer, DBX 266xl compressor/gate, FXR elite II effects processor and a Roland SRV-3030 digital reverb. I will be using a Electrovoice N/D-757B mic, I also have a AKG C420 and a Rode mic, ART pro mic tube amp along w/ more cables than I can count. I plan to record music and vocals but am overwhelmed by it all.

Microphones may well be. But everything else you need to sell fast! And buy the PreSonus StudioLive 16.0.2! The equivalent of the money will be the same, and work much more flexible.

The DP32 is a pretty nice recorder. I'd stick with that!
