I have a Zoom H2........had it for a couple of years now.

If you use one......what "microphone mode" did you find best for recording keyboards?

Did you find the room you are using "colors" the sound?

I've tried various mike/surround/channel configurations but I don't think I have it dialed in yet still......

When you say "room" are you talking about a H2 setting? If so I would always record completely dry and flat eq cos you can always add ambience and eq later ... but you can't get rid of it if it is printed on the original recording.

No...I meant the actual room one records in.....I know this can make a difference....

The Zoom H2 has 90 degree/120 degree plus 2 channel stereo and 4 channel modes as well as 'surround'

Plus 'filters', "compression', and 'limiters' etc.

I have recorded on it no problem......but wondering what best settings were for overall sound that other keyboard players have used.....
