Hi..I have a Fostex VF08...and I paid $699 for it...now its much cheaper...only thing is that u can record two tracks at a time..other than that, I think is very easy to use and worth the price..nice thing is the 5.1 gig HD also has phantom power for conderser mic and has lots of effects...I have made some music on it using my IS40 Korg keyboard and burn cd's using my puter's cdr..if u want to hear a couple of tracks I did..check out my site at:
