cda to mp3

Can anyone recommend some good conversion software or ripper program.

I've tried Pyro (No Good)
Tried Cool2000 (Crap)
Tried WinAMP3(No)
Any Ideas??
I'm NOT using a computer in my recording apart from my D8's. I'm currently burning to a stand alone Pioneer unit PDR-W739.
