Is there a way to delete, rename or move styles to other categories without a computer?

How do i change factory names of styles and categories?

As far as I know you can not delete the factory styles or move them to another category.
Now if you are talking about USER styles you can do just about anything to them. The process for moving or deleting a user style requires several steps. It is best to use a computer to do these things if there are many styles that need deleting or moving.

Hello Deane, thanks for clarification.
I hoped it would be as easy as with a Korg PA4X, there I can simply mark a style and move, rename or delete them directly at the instrument without using a PC.

Hi,
It's easy without a PC.
Click the Media / DISK EDIT / USER_STYLE button and rename the styles or move them to other categories

Thanks for the hint, MDM.
There is indeed the possibility to copy and rename Styles via Diskedit, but if you have the styles on an external USB with many subdirectories, you always have to switch the mode to Diskedit for each action first, navigate through the directory structure, first for renaming, then again to listen to other styles.

When you go to DISK EDIT you have only copy rename and delete. It's mising the option MOVE. So everytime you have to copy- paste the file and then go back to delete it.
Ketron we are in 2020. With PC works everything fine.
