SD9 styles converted for Audya

Just delete the last .mp3 from the file name. Put in your Ballad folder - I had to do it to be able to upload here.

Bear in mind that the missing sections have SD9 onboard audio loops in them. I do not have a SD9 at hand, so I am not going to guess the most appropriate onboard Audya loops for those - you can do at your own leisure. Please be so kind as to send me a copy of every style that you've enhanced - it is only fair to ask that.

I receive these only a few at a time, so no flood will be forthcoming. Please be patient. There's a lot of work involved to get them where they now are too.

Thank you for the thank you. Yes, you can put these files anywhere you want. I just chose to mix mine with the onboard Audya styles, but you don't HAVE to.

I am working on some more styles - will upload them a little later.

Yes, I know Hammer(Deane) did. You have to convert them on the SD9 however. I'm sure he'll help you if you find it difficult to do.

Are you saying Audya, as well as SD7, can be converted by and to the SD ? I knew he had an SD7, but not Audya.

This concludes all the SD9 onboard Ballads that I could convert for the Audya.

Please tell me what I am doing wrong. I am trying to erase the .MP3 type, but it just shows .pat and no .MP3. It is still acting like an MP3 though. This is on the Audya.

Bernie,

Right click on the file. Select "Rename". From the right hand only, delete the .mp3 part. Next say save. It will complain, but save anyway.

Put styles any where under you "User Styles" directory.

Hi all,

I am a little side tracked for the moment, so conversions are not as fast. I am busy with conversions for something else that grabbed my full time attention for now. (I've already converted over six hundred styles in the last week or so...)

However, if anyone is interested, I'll convert all of these SD9 styles (KST format) to the Audya format (PAT extension) that can be worked on directly by using a Ketron product - be it the Audya or Style Compiler.

If anyone is willing to add suitable audio drum tracks and onboard voices to these, I'll mail these to you. Only condition, is that you upload everything that you've converted here for all to use.

To make sure of this, I'll mail you only five converted SD9 styles at a time. After each group of conversions, I'll send you five more. You can choose the genre that interest you most.

If no one responds, I'll still do these on my own, but it will only be at a trickle flow for now.

The tasks at hand for you to do are:

1. Find any drum track, be it audio or midi or a mixture of both, that will work with the style.
2. Change all style voices to suitable voices wherever required.

It is really not hard to do at all.

Ketron is not the only brand that impresses even though I cannot afford the latest and greatest right now. I at least upgrade the styles to the latest and greatest which works fine for me.

I use OS52A - everyone using that OS will have no problem with any of my styles. All the other OS versions are having trouble with them. Don't blame me, blame Ketron! They refuse to even answer me on this issue, so I just don't upgrade my OS and I am not loosing out on anything special. Maybe this is why I am focussing on another brand for the moment - Ketron does not encourage private individuals to convert or create styles for the Audya.


I have a link to OS52A if anyone needs it - you'll have to downgrade your OS to 52A though. And no, Ketron does not support or host that specific OS version on their website.

You are most welcome my friend. Yes, in the past two weeks I converted all Genos styles first to Ketron, then to Yamaha PSR S770.

Next I started on the SD9 styles to Audya. But somewhere in between, I got sidetracked again and started creating very special styles for my Audya.

Nice to be on leave, though it's almost over.
