Please Help

I need some help please. The lady I bought the X1 from insisted that it was fitted with a vocalizer but as yet I have not got it to work.I am using a high quality mono microphone plugged directly into the mic socket ande get good audio output but no vocalizer. I noticed that the overload light does not come on so I am wondering if I am not connected to the vocalizer channel.Does anyone have a wiring diagram of the microphone adaptor for two microphones or can offer any assistance.

1st question:

is your mic a dynamic mic or a condenser mic?
if you don't know, tell us the make/model

The mike is dynamic xlr to a mono plug

you need to set it as ACTIVE in the menu and then make a new Power On Setup otherwise it will be off the next time you use the instrument. (check your owners manual for more details)
