Problems with the adapter for the disk ssd Ajamson

For a second consecutive week and during a performance I to failed the Audya, and I had to restart it, and even last week I had to open it in front of 150 people, I had never spent so much shame in a performance. the problem is the adapter that connects the Audya with hard drive SSD Ajamsonic. It is loose on one side and stops working keyboard.

Anyone that has had the same problem and that can give me any solution is there.You know Sr, Aj. or some other person other different adapter which can solve the problem.Thank you and expect an answer.

I´ve got an Audya 4 + 5, and I´ve been really thinking of upgrading them by that Ajamsonic SSD for some time; I´m afraid I won´t take that risk - when Ajamsonic started to offer that upgrade, there were many complaints e.g. about freezing from users who had decided to buy it. Meanwhile Ajamsonic tells us that those issues had been solved. Your lines tell us something different. I think I´d rather accept the limitations of the original - but after all reliable - Audya (the audience don´t realize them anyway) than to risk such an experience you had. What a nightmare for any professional!

Maybe you have to use that liquid glue that becomes plastic on both sides?

Nonsense about the freezing part. I have not read of a single freezing report caused by Ajamsonic. Ajamsonic made my standard used Audya more reliable, not less. And I've had my uprade for quite a while already.

Yes, even I experienced the adaptor problem & AJ immediately sent me another one.

There are other cables off the shelve that could be used instead. I'm sure I've listed them under tha FAQ topic.

Not critical at all the improvements of Ajamsonic, mi audya is much better since it install all your update and even buy the package of styles, but this problem I is causing headaches. I hope that Aj solve it I, the is always attentive to these problems and recommend her 100% update

I had one problem after another. To be fair to AJ he did try to help, and sent me three adaptors and three SSDs. Yes they did freeze on jobs and sometimes did not want to load at all. After several months of problems I settled for a replacement hard drive instead of the ssd, but to this day I still have certain styles which don't work. They were to be fixed with the release of version 3. but I never heard from him again ! I am also out of pocket for the difference in price between the SDD to HD plus repeated shipping charges returning drives from UK and also customs import charges which none of us expected. As I said, AJ tried several times so I can't knock him for that but I have waited nearly a year now for promised styles and goodies to compensate me. I gave in !!!

I recommend everyone to install disk ssd with Ajamsonic updates, if there is someone around the world that are to worried about improving the Audya that is Mr. Aj, if dependieramos of ketron Italy some time ago that would not have any helps, ketron is a disgrace, best keyboards and modules, but they don't care to correct all mistakes, Aj to worked hard to improve it and I think that deserves that, whoever has meant buying a product ketron purchase to the directly.

You have presented this topic is by asking if someone to another type of adapter that is used more reliable. It is the third that I put and I have used it for quite some time but once again to fail and we need something more reliable.

As we had previously explained, unfortunately, we got a bad batch/set of adaptors when we initially started with the AJAMONIC upgrade kits and have since then (like Heny mentioned above) tried to replace these with more reliable/tested units. We now test every adaptor before it goes out - just one of the many steps taken to improve quality control. We have also started testing every KETRON equipment sold in the USA - before it sent to our dealership/customers ... again, steps taken to ensue that no one's KETRON product freezes.

Please send us you name and address and Audya's serial number, and will mail you a replacement adaptor, and sorry for the inconveniences.

One month before, I replaced the Hard Disc with Ajamsonic SSD and I am working every day (in my Studio and some gigs) and my Audya work very very good!!!!!....
I have not similar problems!!!

I don't have any problems since more than one year with my AJAMSONIC SSD, but I had an SSD already before I installed AJ's .
And I used my adaptor instead of AJ's.

Could you tell me Snoopy where buy it you this adapter.

I´ll have to look if I can find it again, it was in May 2013, from a german internet shop...

The connector is the main issue here for the most part as nothing physically holds it in place secured to the SSD apart from friction between both connectors. Use a glue gun here to secure the connection between the adaptor and the SSD so that it stays in place even during extreme motion.

Don't apply the glue where it connects, but rather over the connection ... or you can put 2 large drops (one on either end/side). When it solidifies, it will hold both in place.
