Looking forward to receive my Audya Ajamsonic

I ordered an Audya Ajamsonic from AJ and, if all goes well, it may arrive next week. Needless to say that I am filled with anticipation. Hopefully the learning curve won't be too steep but, then again, anything technological is to me. Probably why I am not a fan of cell phones.

Any suggestions of styles that are out there which aren't on the Audya Ajamsonic? Are styles of earlier Ketron models redressed on the Audya or are they not found on the Audya at all?

What are some good resources for third party styles/registrations (?) (useful for later on, perhaps) and are there any other Ketron forums out there besides SZ?

Let's just say ... when you get your AUDYA AJAMSONIC, you won't be looking for 'stuff' for a while.

Share your experiences on here too on how fast you were able to 'learn' how to use this keyboard. The included DVD manual should get you started in minutes ... literally!

Oh, I'm sure I won't be needing newer styles and other stuff soon, just looking towards the (far-off) future.

Wow! SPS! Are these included in my package? I notice the China Ballad. Cool. Im actually hoping for Chinese styles/registrations. Maybe something to work on in the future? And don't forget notation on the LCD. Very useful learning tool!

I still can't get over the fact that there are people who say the Audya doesn't sound up to par with the Tyros. Of course, most of these people have never even heard a "full rich" sound in their lives. And this is what drove me away from Yamaha, its thin sound. Also the fact that when you hear one Tyros performance, you've basically heard them all as they all tend to sound the same. Well, higher sales doesn't mean better product. Oh, and brushed aluminum always beats plastic!

I agree that I'll be in good hands. Choice-wise, I'm sure that I'll love my Audya Ajamsonic. I already have a CD player so a Tyros would be overkill.

Have you recived your upgrade? Opinion?

Not yet. Should arrive here on Friday. Either pick it up then or on Monday (in case it gets here after the post office is closed).

According to AJ it has all the latest updates/upgrades.

Anyway, at the moment it's in Singapore. Before that in Hong Kong. I guess it'll go to Bangkok next before making its way to Vientiane, Laos. So near and yet so far!

Long story but in short...NO! Haven't received anything! Am close to calling it quits and go for another brand.

Nah, Bernie, much worse but I won't go into that here. AJ is helping me out but it does leave a bad taste in my mouth. Let's just say that things are really messed up due to incompetence. So all I can do for now is wait, wait and wait some more. Just tired of all the waiting as I am really in need of a keyboard.

Anyway, I am not looking for another brand as I have my eyes set on the Audya Ajamsonic. Unless I have no other choice, that is.

The transportation issue is with UPS who seem to have lost the package and are delaying in finding or paying out the insurrance. Thier marketting isn't all it seems to be - but we are working on resolving this for Taike.
