Uninstall & Reinstall Pen Drive Upgrade?

Hello

I have finally buy my Audya4 with memory RAM and the PEN DRIVE STYLES & SOUNDS UPGRADE 2011.

But one of new styles "with dots" is CORRUPT...

How is possible to solve the problem?

The manual of PenDrive dont have reference to UNINSTAL or REINSTALL...

You must remove the installation log file from the hdd Audya (do not remember the name, it seems C:\00KTNInstall-Style00.log), then you can re-install the upgrade as instructed on the http://www.ketron.it/index.php?option=com_content&view = article & id = 357 & Itemid = 20 & lang = ita

I dont have a log file "00KTNInstall-Style00.log" in my audya hdd.

I have purchased a new audya4 with RAM expantion and PEN DRIVE Styles&Sounds 2011 ready instaled by a ketron technical.
But I have some problems & questions:

- One of new styles "with dots" is corrupted;
- I dont have the new users live guitar (Fox2, Twist, Tarantella 3, slow walzer 2&3);
- The OS is runing is 4.2B, but in:
C:\SYSTEM\OldRel I have: AUDY442B.MEM and AUDY442C.MEM
- I make the checksum tests and I have one ERROR:
KetA02 86AC504E 88F51D49 ERR

I supose the audya4 haved the new OS 4.2C and the technical dont have installed well the PEN DRIVE 2011 and he have reinstall the old version 4.2B.
Do you think about my problems?

Delete the AUDY442c.mem file as this is obviously a beta version of this software. You shouldn't have two *.mem files in the root directory at any time.

Then re-install the existing OS (turn AUDYA4 off, press and hold F10 and Unplugged together as you turn on the AUDYA 4 and release buttons 5 seconds later.

This should put things back in prospective for you.

The two *.mem files are on the "OldRel" folder, they are not in the root directory.

I have instaled the AUDYA442C.MEM... beta or not, I'm will work with the 4.2C OS.

Is not possible the audya today coming with the last 4.2C OS from KETRON?

Hi Dreamer. You should really have spoken to your retailer or distributor about this as your warranty is with them, however AJ is correct and you should be using 4.2B which is stable and can be downloaded from www.ketron.it.

with regards to the corrupt style, it should be enough to insert the 2012 pen drive, change to D:remov and select the "00KTNinstall" file to reinstall the style pack. There is no need to UN-install first.

you don't need to worry about that as there is an error in the checksum test itself. The result is fine.
