Hi Ky,

When you press the keys just a little harder (how hard is user definable), you'll get an immediate drum fill. I make use of this feature a LOT!!! It works for both the right or left hand.

Anyway, I'm sure TWD or AJ will elaborate over here.

Keep well my friend,

Kytrinh,

Press the key down (as you normally do now to hear a sound). When key gets to the bottom, now press a little harder (you will fill it move even lower but with more pressure applied to get it to do that) - that is AFTERTOUCH. If the FILL TO AFTERTOUCH IS active (or any other program assigned to after touch (e.g. Voice VOLUME/PITCH/BEND ... etc)) you will now 'hear' that effect.

Hope that helped?

Hi Ky,

Great stuff!!! Just like me, you do not let the grass grow under your feet. You get what's available a.s.a.p & you get it over with!

I'm amazed at how many have had their Audyas for so long without all this excellent new stuff available. It takes a LOT of convincing before some respond & only then realize what they've been loosing out on during all this time...

Keep well my friend,

Henni

Henni

I must admit that I was one of them until I got the AJAMSONIC package and video tutorial. I was quite happy with what I had until I found out what I could have. It is like thinking my Casio in the eighties was great until----

Re: Audya after fill function - 11/29/12 08:15 PM

Hi Ky,

I did nothing special. I created another directory under the "User Styles" directory & called it "More Ketron styles". Next, I unzipped all those new styles, each group in it's own directory and then I copied all those directories under my new directory as per above.

To access these styles, I have to use the "Disk" function. They can only be accessed using the built in explorer and they should be accessed like you do with any other file using explorer. Just click on the style and it will become active.

The other way is to unzip those styles, copy each style (not with it's directory, but the style only) seperately under the various existing directories under your "user styles". You cannot sort by genre, as it would we impossible to know for all of them. But you can spread them evenly between those directories. In this way, you can access them in the normal way, using the "user" button for each style section. I initially did it this way, but it becomes all too messy too soon and later on it is hard to know which original styles originally belonged to each directory. If you choose this way, Ketron has a complete description on their Website on how to do this, however, I do not recommend this method. There are far too many new styles.

If I was you, I'd create a seperate directory and copy all your new directories in there. If you then later access a style via the "Disk" function & you edit it, you can always save in one of the normal original genre directories.

I hope you can understand the above my friend. All the best,

Henni

Re: Audya after fill function - 11/29/12 09:01 PM

Hi Henni.. Yes I did unzip all the styles I wanted and transfer them individually onto the USB stick. Next I press DISK , there I see C:INTERNAL . And D:HD-DISK .. By pressing USER 2 I see the list of files I downloaded, however if I select one of the styles.. It would register as CORRUPT FILE.. That's why I'd thought I check whether I have initially downloaded the correct file... I'll try again tonight after work and will keep you posted.. Thanks again for your response Henni.. Cheers, Ky

Re: Audya after fill function - 11/29/12 09:13 PM

Hi Ky,

Not sure how the Audya would react to playing a style direct from the USB stick. Just maybe your problem lies here, but I'm not sure of this at all.

But you should not be going out of "Disk" mode at all - just, whilst in "Disk" mode, scroll down to your style & select it from there. I.o.w you should not go out of "Disk" mode to select your new style. I'm sure this is it!!!

Try it my way tonight & see what happens...

I'm on leave as from this afternoon & maybe I'll not post over here as regularly as I did till now. We are moving house & I also intend to focus much, much more on Gospel outreaches during this time. We intend to put our AJAMSONIC Audya to work at last!!! Our sound trailer has not been opened at all for a very long time. All of that is about to change again...

Therefor, please be patient if I should not respond as quick as I used to before during this time.

Keep well my friend,

Henni

Re: Audya after fill function - 11/29/12 09:44 PM

Hi Ky,

Forgot to tel you that there are quite a few styles over there that do not work properly. You'll see that I created a "No Work" directory & I put them all in there.

It is just possible that the first styles you've tried are some of those.

Keep well my friend,
