Here we go again!!

Just wondering why the h&% the Audya is so unstable. I have been working in my home studio lately. Audya has been fine, even no left voice problem . This morning I started up as usual, left voice gone, restart, left voice still gone. Another restart, INTERNAL PHASE ERROR. no sound. Another restart, everything back to normal and Audya plays fine. Why? everything done as usual, not been moved, same PA. My local dealer is so glad he never sold me the Audya, usually he's mad at me when I don't buy from him May be a better life after AJamsonic?? I HOPE !!!

Skude have you ever tried to power up with just headphones connected, take out all the other leads, just power and headphones.

I did not try that this morning Tony, but I have many times, even at a gig. It's just the same.

It has never been over, but I've learn to live with it. One restart I can take, but 2-3-4 + int phase error, makes me crazy. Sorry

When I had taken my HD in and out to make the HD I sent you a while back my Audya started to do the Int Err and I noticed that the ribbon plug clip had worked loose. I wonder if your has done the same, you need to get a magnifying glass on the end of the ribbon cable and see if its slack in the plug, I do have new plugs and some ribbon I could make you a new cable up, it means taking the lid off again.

This is my old HD cable, at first glance it looks ok, but when you look at the ribbon end with a magnifying glass, this view you can see here the ribbon has worked loose and the are some poor connections with the spike pins, I got INT ERR, I will make you a new plug and lead for you I have all the bits.

Thanks very much for your offer, you have been a great help for me during the last two years. (HD's CD's etc.) Not sure what I would have done without you. It may very well be cable problems, I have checked them several times, but as you say, it's not very easy to find. It would be great to get a new cable. Is this a standard cable that I can get from a computer store? If so, I could just get one, instead of you doing all the work. I'm waiting for the pen update, when it gets here, I will take the top off. After update done I will also make another copy of my HD.

Do you or anyone else not maybe still have a backup of your Audya HD?

Mine worked perfectly. So I know for a FACT that I have no hardware related issues. Then I installed all the free Ketron styles from their site. Still worked perfectly.

Next I found an older Ketron styleupdater.ini file and I ran as per the instructions.

Then (maybe not as a result of this) I lost all my live audio guitars. Checksums checks allright. Found OS4.1B and updated. Did numerous system resets. The F10 & User 1/6 checksum checks out good, but informs me: Load Recourses.

I know for a definite fact that I did not delete or overwrite anything.

Yet now my sysyem locks every few minutes and I have no live guitars - they show in the style view, but no sound comes from those tracks & I cannot edit or change them.

Please, ANY help would be highly appreciated. If someone can maybe host these files for me somewhere for download, I'll be elated.

To order a new hard drive will take much too long.

PS: I see now what I did wrong. I created a new folder under user styles and called it: _Henni. Next, I copied all my new style folders under this sub directory. Then, to access my new styles, I used the "Disk" function to brows to them, select & play.

I just read on the Ketron site that I should not modify the directory tree structure in any way. I've put everything back to norma;l, but still no audio guitars. Any help please?

I have created new folders under user styles and had no problems with them.
In fact I thought that was the whole idea.........being able to customise the instrument to your liking
