using a Ketron SD4 with a midi accordion

using a Ketron SD4 with a midi accordion - 08/31/11 08:12 AM

Hello

A question or two about linking up this SD4 module with a midi accordion.

1)Will I be able to assign Bass and chords to my LH without the need to use any other piece of equipment.

2) Can I assign drum parts to play along with my bass and chord buttons.

Any other info would be appreciated.

What is "LH"?

Linking directly your midi accordion on SD4 you can have drum parts to play along the bass and chord buttons.

I think he means "Left Hand" wink

@Frank : Maybe this depends as well on your midi-accordion. Which one are you using ?

Thanks guys,

Yes, LH is left hand (Bass hand)

connecting my accordion to Ketron SD4 module.

Thanks!

If your accordion have 3 midi chanels (ch:1 right / ch:2 Chords / ch:3 Bass), you can easy use the SD4 for make a great sound module for accordion.

The Ketron SD4 have 3Modes to operate: Master Keyboard, Accordion, Organ, 2xMIDI.

In Accordion mode is ready to use! Maybe you have to make some sounds in other octave for de chords or bass, dependig the midi in accordion.

You have 64 presets sound, and more 64 user editable sounds (like Program with 3voices)
