where can i buy it from?

My dealer in the States has informed me that his distributor has not yet received them.

Patience Leezone - everything comes to those who wait!!!
(Just pulling your leg) - really hoping Ketron Italy have got their act together this time and posted the Pen Drives to distributors early. Installation looks quite a bit more complicated than previous upgrades - 2 hours 20 mins to install, wow!! Hope I don't get a power cut.

I guess leezone one wonders as has been the past practice, they either make an anouncment and then you wait forever for the real thing, or they say they have released the real thing and then you wait forever for it. Its hard to get excited because the past history has not been good. I'll be extatic when i actually have it in hand! mm and also be great if they posted some demo's, come on Ketron what's happening, this can't be this hard surely?

Do you have to install 4.2b before you get the pen drive , or does the pen drive install 4.2b and new styles and sounds? I have never had any kind of problem with my Audya 5 and I surely want to keep it that way but I would like to have some new styles and sounds. I have yet to download anything into any of my keyboards off of websites so I will heve to step through it with extreme care.

Unfortunately, I agree with Robbo. Keton's customer relations and marketing have proven not to be the best.

I'm looking forward to the upgrade, but the wait, lack of information, and no demo's yet has a tendency to take the excitement factor in a downward trend.

I guess we'll just continue to wait until the pen drive is actually shipping.

I remain optimistic.

there have been loads of demos of the new software since Frankfurt and we featured it heavily on the UK roadshow too.

You don't have to install 4.2b from the website to use the USB stick (it is included). Audya 4, 5 and 8 users can upgrade without thinking, but 76 key audya owners must have installed the 2010 USB update (because of the huge wavetable changes).

The UK should have the updates ready to send by the end of next week, not sure about other countries.

I just talked to Frankieve today and he said he doesn't have the update yet. Should be hear soon.

As I said, I talked to him yesterday and the distributor hasn't got them in, but he will notify us as soon as they do.

Thanks Bernie and townwheeldude , I will wait for the pen drive and go from there. So easy even a caveman can do it. Why am I beginning to feel so old?

As I said before,,, why oh why Ketron wouldn't you have done an online order for the pen drives for customers, and if you wanted the dealers to get some of the action you could give them a dividend from the sales. Once again it's an easy process, and I can't understand why there are always roadblocks to getting updates out there, particulary to make it fair on everyone, ie who gets it first and so on.

I know I'm going to be hearing from players who will be getting it first, and instead of being excited, i'll be angry that the processes are unfair.

Is the last 4.2b the same update as from the new pendrive?

still don't know why they don't make this update downloadable
even if it's 10gb, i mean this is 2011, we all have or should have fast internet

and for those that say well file corruption or files missing, etc
there's such thing as checksum program which would ensure download is complete

of course still have pen available for the less computer savvy, and for those that wanna wait for the pen via boat...

i'm guessing this update is 1gb if that, probably a whole lot less

I asked Ketron Italy how soon the new upgrade would be out - they replied 2 days ago and said '1 to 2 weeks'. I wouldn't put my life on it but it's fairly reassuring that they replied and gave an estimate - WELL DONE KETRON. Carl

on the German Ketron homepage (www.ketron.de) it is written, that the delivery of the new sound package will start on the 12.07.2011. So it finally looks that it will become real now.
I have already ordered one from my local dealer.

50 euro ($72 US), i think is very reasonable for such an update
if of course it's bug free / rock solid

i still wonder if this fixes the audio timing issues of the audio loops, or if that's only with AJAMSONIC... AJ?

Hi All

There is a compatibility problem with the site and IE which prevents the play bar from loading.

I would suggest you download the Google Chrome Browser and open the link in this, as this works fine.

NOTE: With all browsers there are sometimes sites which don’t work correctly in them, which is why it always beneficial to have at least 2 different ones available just in case.

but if anyone has a script-blocker od ad-blocker installed he won´t see the bar.

I saw it in firefox only after I allowed the scripts and deactivated the popup-blocker on the site

Ketron UK's stock order arrived yesterday, they will be shipping to their customers from Tuesday next week.

if PENS arrived yesterday,
why wait 1 full week to ship?
haven't the customers waited long enough?

The UK distributor offers around the clock support and includes far more detailed instructions with each update (which takes a little while to prepare). There have been no complaints so far at the extra few days.

Tonewheeldude - THANKS A LOT for mentioning that the PenDrives have arrived in the UK, I had no way of knowing that.
I'm very grateful as I'm on holiday and have some time to install it and explore the new stuff - perfect timing.

the pendrive is 4 gb. the data is only 1,47 gb plus 4.2b and pdf
less than last year. here in italy is fast but I don't understand why the don't put online with paypal system

I think the answere is only one: for copyright protection. the pen is protected you can backup but don't work in other way. then if you have only download is dangerous for illegal copy

in the drum sets (midi) I don't found different (they talking more good for midifile)
