Finding Audya in NYC\NJ area - 06/05/11 06:50 AM

Does anybody know where I can find a store having both Audya and PA2x in their showroom?

Contacting Sam Ash, they hardly manage to find one branch in Carle Place (NY) with only the Pa2x. But I would rather want to compare the PA2x to Ketron Audya - merely listening to demos on youtube isn't enough.

BTW, I'm a new member here, so hello to everyone...

Give Frankie V a call at AudioWorks, he's only 1 hour away in CT. He has all the top arrangers in his showroom.

Thanks kbrkr. I went there yesterday and found the Audya and Tyros but not the Pa2x to which I wanted to compare. After playing on the Audya for about 3 hours or so I tried the tyros and although as far as mere sound quality and timbre is concerned it was hard to tell which one is better, the way the Tyros plays certainly sounded more mechanistic (anyway the 61 keys is not a real option for me).

But I still have some questions regarding the Audya. For example I couldn't find a way for the keyboard to play cords according to the entire range (not only the left hand) with the bass defined by the lowest note played till the suspension pedal is released.
