COME ON KETRON, WE NEED SOME NEW EXCITEMENT! - 05/28/11 05:10 AM

Hurry up and Wait seems to be the norm with Ketron.

I'm excited about the 50 new Styles that will be included in the " If It Ever Gets Here " Upgrade. Including New Live Guitar and New Live Drum Tracks.

As with most of us Players, new styles open new doors for our Musical Creativity. Styles & Great Solo Instruments is what an Arranger Keyboard is all about.

Dispite the Bugs that persist in the OS, I still feel the Audya is the Ultimate Dream Machine for arranger players.

My Duo has been performing at a local " HOT " Night Club which runs Live Bands seven nights a week. Most of the Groups are four and five piece with MUCH younger musicians than myself.

The lead singer from one of the groups said to me the other night, " Hey Man, I don't know what that keyboard is your playing, but your sound " Kicks SOME MAJOR BUTT!!!! "

I accepted that as a Compliment.

Never, in my forty years of playing, have I turned so many heads or received so many compliments with my KeyBoard.

Thanks Ketron, for giving me a Machine that always provides me a " FUN FACTOR " of 10!

The anticipated New Upgrade will only kick it up another notch.

Come on Ketron, Make it happen! We need some NEW EXCITEMENT!

Hi Nitelife,

It's great to see someone so excited and passionate about their keyboard. I so wanted to love the Audya5 for that live sound, but I could not get past the reliability and support issues which for me were horrible.

I'm just curious what type of venue do you play and what does your typical Playlist look like? I currently play in a wedding band and play solo on cocktail hours and ceremonies. There are some nights where I say to myself; "I could do this gig much better by myself or with a female singer". I'm sure at some point you said the same thing to yourself!!!

Regards,

Hi kbrkr,

We do four nights a week in two different Moose Lodges, a couple night clubs and Country Clubs in between.. Park dances are endless during the Season.

Take a minute and check out our web site.

www.SouthernExpressMusic.COM

I play both the Audya and a Tyros 3, however I prefer the Audya.

Our music ranges from the 40's to the 80's doing a lot of 70's and about 20% Country.

I've had a Duo format since 1972 working with five different singers over the years.

Nice to hear from you.

confused

Do this mean you bought the style from keyboardspeler.nl and kindly give it away for free for all to download here?
Or maybe you're doing it on behalf of the kreator and seller as a demo to gain more sales?
If the answer is yes to the first part, it's probably not quite as legal as if the answer is yes to the last part ....

I just bought and played two on my Audya 76. The only thing lacking is a variety of endings on "ripitup" and Dance The Night Away. Maybe you meant them to song specific and end like the cover. At any rate I like them very much and can use them for several songs.

I see you are in the process of adding more, and will be back.
