No an expert on Audya but with 4.2a if you select a style that include groove, you hit F2 to select it, and F2 again to change it. The first time you hit F2, only allow to change volume.

By pressing "F2" I can switch between "Groove", "GrooveBank" and "Drum2" ( e.g. Style "^JIVE" )

The "GrooveBank" can be changed with the jog-dial as well as the "Drum2" set, but nothing to change when "Groove" is set ( in "^JIVE" itīs TRADITIONAL1 )

I tried it with self recorded midis ( on Audya5 ) as well as with bought ones, no limping at all...

I agree with you in the Groove issue. When I have 4.2a installed I was able to change it.
My problem is with third parties Styles. If I select a third party style (no a Ketron style) and try to modify it by hitting EDIT, the second time that I try to open that style it tell me that is corrupted. Can you confirm? First make a copy of the style that you are to test.

Hi

Everything seems to work perfect in my Audya after installing the 4.2a. I use a lot of 3 party styles with no problem after editing.

Niels,

What hardware do you have? Audya76, Audya5 or Audya4?
Where I have the issues with third party styles is an Audya4.

Re: Bugs and fixes in 4.2A - 05/25/11 02:23 PM

I don't know if the reason for this behavior is because I added the third party styles after I upgrade to 4.2a, but after I down grade to 4.1b I don't have the issue.

Behavior in 4.2a:

1-I select a third party style (like some that I purchase from Carillon Studios). Play the style, no issues there.

2- Something that usually do with third party styles is to replace the MIDI drums with Audio Drums and save it with another name.
In this case I do the following:
-Select the same style that I already play, hit EDIT and nothing happen. If I select again that style or try to play it, I get a warning in top of the display that read " +++Corrupted".
-After this situation I am no able to select (using and F key) that style any more.
- If I select a Ketron style, hit EDIT, style open as expected.

-The same thing happen if do the same operation from a USB pen drive.

Even after a reboot, I can't select anymore the style market as "+++corrupted".

Hi Machetero
