The Groove Bank:
- Is a mono sampled "percussions".
- They are previously sliced.
- They are in the ROM of the instrument.

The Audio Drum:
- Is CD-quality audio file (44.1 kHz, 16-bit stereo).
- The are a intact file sync with the bpm tempo.
- You can put in the Audya your own Wav files (User Audio Drums).

Yes, the groove bank is it read only.

The groove bank appeared to complete with more realism the MIDI styles, with "live percussions".

In Audya, we can have a Style playing:

-> AUDIO DRUM + MIDI DRUM + GROOVE BANK (simultaneously!!!)
or
-> AUDIO DRUM + MIDI DRUM + MIDI DRUM2 (simultaneously!!!)

Does the Audya groove bank is backward compatible with the SD1 and SD5 live drums?

How to call the Audya live drums by midi?
So you canno't load your SD1 or SD5 styles on the Audya who own live drums?
It is very bad for me, as many of my own created styles are using live drums.

Good question!
Unfortunately I dont have the Audya yet... I cant test SD1/SD5 styles in Audya.
