Ketron SD3 with Roland PK5

Is anyone here using a Ketron SD3 with a Roland PK5 Midi pedal Board?
If so I would really appreciate some info on connecting it up properly . A friend has just purchased the said combination of SD3 and PK5 and while he has managed to trigger the Major Chords with his pedalboard he cannot figure how to trigger the Minors or sevenths etc.

I use the Pk5 myself with the Audya 4 and have no problems but I know nothing at all about the SD3. I am able to trigger 2 keys together to get a minor or a seventh etc and thats what he is looking to do as well.
Any info greatly appreciated

I have a PK-5 but not the Audya. As I recall I triggered a minor by just pressing the next left pedal together with the chord pedal. Not sure but with pedal combinations you can get minors, aug and dim. I am vacationing in the Philippines so I cannot check my notes.
