Having problems with the Audya4, need help!

I just received my Audya4 and I have two problems RIGHT out of the box.

1. All Voices have Vibrato on Staccato or hard key presses.
2. I cannot get the Styles to trigger!! I plugged my midi cable in and voices play, and I turn on KEY START. when I press a key, the style does not start. What else must I configure to get this to work?

MENU
F2/MIDI
F6/Channel Rx
USER1/GENERAL
F6/GLOBAL >> change from 15 to 1

don't ask me why they'd put Global on CH.15

for vibrato voices...i don't know...may have more to do with your controller, not sure

and change F1/RIGHT from 1 to ANYTHING else

otherwise your "RIGHT" sound is gonna play throughout keyboard (low octave)

I think my issue is all MIDI related. Which Midi input do you use 1 or 2 (keyb)?

When I map CH 15 to my Keyboard, the style triggers, but I can't get my left hand sounds, it's only right hand sounds the entire keyboard. I'm using a Yamaha Motif.

Another clue something is wrong, I CANNOT set the Split Point. It is set at C3 and when I press SPLIT+Key on the keyboard, it does not change at all.

Of course the manuals are all for the Audya and not the Module, so it's no help.

use IN2 (KBD) on audya 4

setting SPLIT is tricky, as it does not work for me, not quite sure, BUT

press and hold SPLIT, and press arrow left or arrow right on A$

are you liking it?

there's a learning curve, but it's pretty intuitive

what did you have b4? which arranger?

Doing things on this are wonky. I had a T1, T2, and a Pa2xpro right before this one.

I love the styles and the drums and I'm chomping at the bit waiting to get to play them and some music and get over with this configuration stuff.
