Please don't do the COUNTDOWN or COUNT IN Skude might be watching and it has only brought us all bad luck so far. I have never heard of anything like this with Ketron. Robbo would be right in thinking that Ketron were going down the tubes, but I wonder if there is real money behind Ketron, it wouldn’t be mine if I was investing, you need some assurance that the company is being run by sensible people, that does not come shinning through. I would bet if you when on a visit to the factory, it would be like taking a walk back into the past when the first Hammond Organ where being build, nay perhaps the Wurlitzer pipe organs. In fact, you know that Google having been going around the world with their cars with street cameras on the top photographing every road and street in the world, see if you can find the Ketron factory, it must be in someone back yard, I can’t find it. One man - two dogs and a shed. We are stuffed for service when they were in business and no different when they are out of business.

You should be asking yourself why ketron have back orders when the KB cost so much, there is enough profit tied up in an Audya for them not to be building hand to mouth.
It is rather worrying, sound to me like they are over-trading and there is only one end to that. I could understand Dom doing this he has just started in business.

You have back orders on a product that you don't make much profit on and neither do the dealers you sell them too, does that make good business sense. Must be like Frank he does it because of his love of music. Cavity wall insulation the thing to be into now and double glazing. £1000.00 a day!!

the music business hasn't made much business sense since around 1984.

If a music retailer is in it to get rich, he should close the doors and get into something else. As far as I am concerned everyone involved in music should be in that trade because they love music. Its great to be able to earn a living from something you love - its a gift after all.

Let me tell you about my families business (and I am talking about their music retail premesis - not the Ketron importer here). As long as we don't make a loss and can pay our bills thats what is all about. You just have to be sensible with expenses; I drive a 12 year old Rover 800 coupe which i love and my wife owns a classic mini which we don't even notice on the family budget. We don't take expensive holidays abroad or own the latest gadgets, to me its more important to be family oriented.

We will invest time with each customer, treat them with respect and are always honest with them. Its false economy to make a quick sale of something they will not be happy with. We want them to return to us next time. Its the only way we stay in the game.

we will only see the Audya 4/5 in SEPTEMBER

because i believe Ketron is closed ALL of August,

the ideal/reasonable price would be $3,000, and that's alot already

If I was you I would buy in your own country you have seen what has happened to Skude. Where do you live, please not Norway!!! the problem is have you a Ketron dealer near you.

Actually Norway is a good place to live, well, except from the sky high price
we have to pay for Audya .....



Thomann is most likely as good as any delaer to buy from, and to close a deal
is just as safe as buy elsewhere.
You also have 30 days money back guarantee if I understand the terms written
at the webpage correctly.
But as Tony point out, it's across the border and from another country and if
something don't work......
If you don't have any serviceminded dealer or representative near you, and if
your Audya start act like some of the items reported at this forum, you should
be prepared to ship your keyboard long distance to be repaired.

Well its the 14th July nothing yet??? not surprised, I know still half a month to go, but I wont be surprised at the end of this month when we all say told you so, "nothing from Ketron" no surprises there
